Delhi Govt schools record growth in pass percentage after CBSE compartment exams

NEW DELHI: The passing rate increased from 81.27 to 97.29%.

The class 12 results from Delhi Government schools also show a gain in passing percentage, which went from 96.29 to 98.21 percent, an increase of 1.92 percent.

Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister, congratulated all the kids, teachers, and parents on the occasion and noted that Corona had had a negative impact on schooling and students’ mental and emotional health over the previous two years.

Corona also repeatedly interrupted the 2021–2022 academic year, which reduced learning possibilities for kids significantly. Despite this, the CBSE board exams went on as usual.

“More than 33,000 students in classes 10 and 12 from our schools have overcome the difficulty of the compartment examinations thanks to the incomparable effort, preparation, and support from our teachers. This outcome will undoubtedly increase their confidence and motivate them to improve their academic performance in the next years. It is a historic occurrence that proves that one should never give up, regardless of the circumstances, “Sisodia stated.

Before the Covid era, during the session 2018–19, the board exams were conducted as usual. After the compartment exams that year, the Class 10th board passing rate for Delhi government schools was 81.44 percent.
