Take States On Board To Prepare Plan For Modernisation Of Over 10 Lakh Govt Schools: Arvind Kejriwal To PM

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to work with other states to develop a plan for the modernization of more than 10 lakh government schools across the nation over the course of the following five years. At a news conference held here, the Chief Minister declared that he would launch the Aam Aadmi Party’s “Make India No. 1” campaign on Wednesday from Hisar, a town in the Haryana state.

The PM-SHRI Yojana, which was unveiled on Monday, would develop and modernise 14,500 schools throughout the nation and provide them with cutting-edge amenities including labs, smart classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities.

“Even though 14,500 schools have been modernised, this is only a drop in the ocean. I urge the prime minister to modernise all 10.5 lakh government schools across the nation “said Mr. Arvind.

“At this rate, it will take 70–80 years to renovate all 10.5 lakh schools in the country, if only 14,500 schools are modernised,” he continued.

He asserted that India cannot overtake other nations as the top power until it guarantees every child access to a high-quality, free education. Call 9510001000, he said, if you want to join the “Make India No. 1” campaign.
